Our Qualifications and Accreditations

Group Dog Training

Our group dog training classes help dogs build confidence and practical skills in a supportive, structured environment. We work on everyday husbandry tasks such as grooming, wearing equipment, and veterinary handling so that dogs become more comfortable with routine care.

Our training options also focus on improving your dog’s ability to focus on you while out and about. By practising around controlled distractions, dogs learn to stay calmer, more attentive, and better behaved in busy environments.

Group Dog Training - Youth Club!

My Complex Canine’s Youth Club course runs for 4 weeks, each session lasting around one hour.

The course is designed for puppies and dogs that have attended Puppy School or previously completed positive reward-based puppy foundation training. When your puppy gets older the world becomes a very exciting place, during this time it can be hard to get their attention, have they got selective hearing and you are no longer the most exciting thing in their world.

This course will help you to build your dog’s ability to, focus on you out and about look, move away from things that are exciting , be calmer around distractions

Areas covered in the course;

Building self-control - leave and drop cues

Proximity exercises for recall and Lead walking to disengage from distractions

Distance control with wait, doorway manners & distance positions

Calm boundary training to ensure they can settle anywhere

Class numbers will remain small 5-7, in order to allow for lots of time for coaching and individual feedback. You will receive weekly training handouts and online supporting content to help you to practice in between classes and at the end of the course you will receive a certificate of achievement & rosette.

Group classes are not suitable for every dog, a group environment will not be the best option for your dog to learn if they are worried by dogs or people, we would instead, recommend training on a 1:1 basis. If you are unsure of what option will be best for you, please contact me prior to booking.
