Private 1:1 Dog Training is best if:
Your dog has specific behaviour challenges such as reactivity, barking, or lead pulling
You want personalised, one-to-one guidance tailored specifically to your dog and lifestyle
You would prefer training in your home or local environment, where the issues usually occur
Stay on track with achieving your goals due to regular contact and progression points
Your dog struggles around other dogs and needs focused training without distractions
You want faster progress with dedicated support and coaching
Group Dog Training is best if:
Your dog needs to gain confidence in busy social environments
You want to practice obedience skills around real-life distractions
Your dog is generally friendly, but needs help with focus and manners around other people and dogs
You'd like to learn in a safe, non-judgmental environment
You enjoy the humour and camaraderie of shared experiences as a dog owner
You want to feel supported and understand you're not alone in your struggles

My Complex Canine’s 1:1 dog training sessions offer personalised support tailored to you and your dog’s individual needs. These sessions provide focused guidance on essential skills such as recall, loose lead walking, settling calmly, and building confidence in new situations.
Working at your dog’s pace in a familiar environment helps create a relaxed learning experience. Using kind, reward-based training methods, you’ll gain the knowledge and practical tools to build strong foundations and set your dog up for a happy, well-behaved life with your family.

The Youth Club course is for young dogs (5 months to 18 months). It is designed to build your dog’s ability to focus on you when out and about, move away from exciting things, and remain calmer around distractions. The training methods are fun game-based methods that engage natural instincts and behaviours. Covering, leave and drop, wait, distance positions, recall and loose lead exercises and calm boundary training.
The Happy Handling consent-based dog behaviour group class is for dogs of any age (over 20 weeks). It is designed to offer a structured, yet fun and educational course, to improve your dog's confidence and trust in all aspects of handling whilst giving them choice and control. We teach dogs to offer consent for all aspects of handling, from grooming to injections, making life happier and vet visits less stressful for all. This course is beneficial to every single dog and owner and will give you a greater understanding of your dog.

Oast Farm is a working fruit farm with a charming café that welcomes well-behaved dogs inside.
Water bowls are provided for dogs, and the occasional treat may materialise for dogs of particularly good behaviour (and looks!).
Please note that dogs must be kept on leads at all times around the café, and aren't permitted in the farm shop or out on the farm itself - so this is very much a sit-down-and-enjoy visit rather than a walking destination. That said, the café's relaxed pace and generous menu make it well worth a visit.
Dog-Friendly Features
Well-behaved dogs welcome inside the café.
Water bowls provided.
Treats might be available for well-behaved dogs.
Food & Drinks
The Cafe has a menu to suit all tastes, and they cater to all dietary requirements, including vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. All their food is cooked to order using the produce they sell in the shop, including their own fruit.
There are light bites, full English breakfasts with vegetarian and vegan options. The daily specials board always features a vegan soup and a vegan main course, and the kitchen is happy to cater to special dietary requirements on request. For something sweet, homemade cakes, fruit scones, rocky road, millionaire's shortbread, and Oast Farm fruit cake are all on offer.
